CDYSB has been providing help and assistance to the young people of Dublin since 1942 when it was established by the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee (CDVEC).
The role of CDYSB is to promote, support and co-ordinate development of voluntary youth clubs, community-based youth projects and youth services in the city of Dublin.
CDYSB administers grant aid on behalf of government to some 70 youth projects throughout the city and directly grant aids more than 300 youth clubs and groups.
