In-service training

Training is provided for youth workers on the basis of requests based on identified needs or on the basis of required core competencies.

Training can take the form of short courses or long term accredited courses e.g. BA (Hons) Youth Work , FETAC Level 4, 5 and 6.

Youth Workers must have the consent of their line manager / management committee before participating in training.

Monthly training news.
The training unit issues a regular bulletin of training that has taken place and gives information about training courses and resources identified as being of value to youth workers.
