If you wish to apply for a Summer Project Grant, you should complete the application form below, have it signed by a Youth / Community / Development worker from Crosscare, Dublin City Council or a Liaison Officer from CDYSB and return it to CDYSB by Friday, 31th July 2020.

Please note:
  • You should read the ‘Explanatory Notes’ before completing the form.

  • Your Summer Project must have a Child Safeguarding Statement; we will not allocate a grant to a Summer Project who does not have a Child Safeguarding   Statement. If you do not have a Child Safeguarding Statement, CDYSB will provide an Information Session on developing one. You should contact Garreth Tierney in CDYSB for further details and to book your attendance. Garreth can be contacted at the number below.

  • All adults involved in the Summer Project are required to be Garda Vetted; we will not allocate a grant to a Summer Project where Garda vetting is not up to date and completed in full.

  • All activities must be covered by a relevant Insurance Policy – full details must be included on the application form. We will not allocate a grant to a Summer Project who has no insurance.

  • Payment will only be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the group bank account.   Payment will not be made to An Post Account, Credit Union Account, or a personal Bank Account.

Summer Project Grant 2020 Application Form

The aim of this grant is to contribute towards the cost of educational programmes and activities in locally organised summer projects. This grant is only available to groups working with young people within the Dublin City Council area.
