As happened last year CDYSB will be meeting with our projects in October and November 2011 to discuss funding for 2012.

We are concious of the fact that projects are seeking assistance in preparing a financial plan for 2012 and the need to discuss the implications of any further cut in funding. In order to prepare for our meetings with the projects CDYSB have prepared template to help us assess the implications of reduced funding in 2012. CDYSB have not been given an indication of the level of funding in 2012 from the Department and the understanding is that this will not be determined until after the Budget. In the absence of this information we are proceeding with the project meetings and are using a number of scenarios to facilitate our discussions. This will help to identify the impact further funding reductions might have on the services and how we can manage the consequences. In the template we also requesting for details of approved posts and salary costs for staff.

It is most important that you complete the templates and return to CDYSB by Thursday 21^st October 2011. Information can be returned via your Liaison Officer or directly to the Finance Section in CDYSB.
