Creating LGBTI+ Inclusive Schools & Youth Services
Event date: 10 June 2021
Event location:
CDYSB and BeLonG To Youth Services are delighted to share our new and improved online training for those working in the youth sector, including Youth Workers, Voluntary Youth Club Leaders, and Volunteers in Youth Services.

Working with BeLonG To Youth Services, the national LGBTI+ organisation, we have updated this fun, interactive training programme that will help you learn the lingo and feel confident supporting the LGBTI+ young people you work with.
The training is 90-minutes long and broken down into small handy sections, so you can dip in and out of it in your own time. Once you finish the training, you will receive a certificate. You can now complete the training on your mobile or tablet, as well as on a desktop. This interactive training includes videos and quizzes to equip you with the tools and knowledge to feel comfortable supporting LGBTI+ young people. As part of the training, you will learn about terminology and language, LGBTI+ mental health, managing your bias, nonbinary and transgender identities, coming out, and improving your practice.
If you completed this training in 2020 and want to try this updated version, you will need to register as a new user.
