CDYSB Launches Visual Arts Development Programme 2021

15 February 2021
CDYSB Visual Arts Development Programme (VADP) 2021

Adhering to Government advice and guidance concerning COVID-19, CDYSB continues to respond in numerous ways to support youth organisations during these exceptional times.

What is the CDYSB VADP?
The VADP is for Projects & Clubs with an ambitious visual arts programme they would like to undertake, yet feel they need support with. The methodology applied will be a Youth Work approach with visual arts practice as the tool for implementation. There may be a considerable timeline involved and it is expected young people who participate will demonstrate both interest and commitment. Participants should be 12 years of age or older.

It is up to each Project or Club to ensure they have an appropriate budget for materials and the resources e.g. youth workers, leaders, activity space and timeframe for the programme to be completed. Also that this has been agreed with their relevant boards of management in advance. CDYSB will cover the cost of its Youth Arts worker to work directly with a limited number of Projects & Clubs for an agreed amount of time.

If you would like to speak to a member of staff in relation to the programme, please contact Maurice Noble at:

Closing date for expressions of interest is 5pm Friday 5th March 2021.
